Well, I guess to get started, I'm going to give a bunch of links to some photo galleries. These photos are of our new house during its construction. We started looking at homes in August of 2007, took about a month or two to decide for sure who we were going to have as a builder. Then we decided on a location, a lot, and a home plan. That made it time to sell the house we were living in at the time. It took about 5 1/2 months to sell our old house, and then we set the builder loose on our new one. The construction start date was right around the 1st of May. We moved into an apartment to wait out the construction process and are still in there as of this post. We are currently talking about rate locks, final walk-through dates, and closing dates; so we are nearing the end of the process.
I hope you enjoy the galleries and catch a glimpse of how exciting it can be to build a new home.

The pics of your "home in progress" are fun, but I wanna see some of your cute kiddos! I know you have to have tons. Have a good Memorial weekend!
We will get to photos of the kids, I promise. I am going to try and keep posting a new photo for the header all the time as well. Most of these will be scenics I think, but we'll see. Keep checking back, I'll try to update once a week, but at least once every other. I'm managing a couple other blogs, a website, and a forum as well... so it's a little tough to keep up on it all sometimes. :)
